28 The Village Flixton was an eight month contract for the extension, renovation and change of use of an historic building located in the heart of Flixton Village.

The existing building was a private dwelling built in several stages over the past two hundred years. Lloyd Evans Prichard were appointed to design a change of use scheme for the conversion of the house into a self contained first floor flat and Chruch Meeting Hall on the ground floor. This included the formation of a new entrances, disabled WC and remodelling of the existing building.

The project was small but complex. The change of use necessary to allow the building to be formed into a flat and public access space required extensive alteration to the historic fabric of the building. These included negotiations with Building Control to ensure the regulations were satisfied without compromising the historic fabric.
