After many years of ad hoc repairs, St Margaret, Dunham, desperately needed a comprehensive appraisal of its condition to formulate a proper plan for its repair. In 2001 LEP prepared a condition report which identified a strategy for the PCC based on a clear understanding of the building.

The first phase of works addressed the sanctuary, crossing and tower, was followed by the complete re-wiring of the building and installation of a new lighting system.

Subsequent phases will include the aisles and nave.
