Designed by Sir Charles Barry and consecrated in 1826, All Saints Church is one of the many "Waterloo" churches built as an expression of national thankfulness for victory at the battle of Waterloo in 1815.

In 2004 The Parochial Church Council, subsequent to the retirement of their previous church architect, approached Lloyd Evans Prichard to continue works on the church. The commission was to carry out the second of a phased re-roofing programme centred on the Nave – recovering the roof in new slate, renewing the asphalt gutters, improving access to the roof.

Currently we are about to repair masonry to the first bay of the South side where embedded iron has caused much damage.
