This overtly Arts and Crafts House of 1924 had been insensitively extended and required major refurbishment. For new owners the practice demolished an inappropriate extension, repaired the house and designed a seamless extension exactly matching the original detailing.

The exact replication of detail from dormer windows, internal and external joinery, iron gutter brackets, hand made roof tiles and lime based rough cast render has provided a very satisfying fusion of new and existing work and provided a markedly improved family house.
