Conservation Management Plans

Required for most large publicly funded conservation projects in order to assess the viability and feasibility of building work as well as targeting the most historically significant elements of the building facility, or structure. The report aims to highlight the general importance of the building, as well as making specific reference to individual items of historic importance. The report should result in a conclusive "management plan" to be used as a reference for any interested party – particularly when it comes to building/alteration works.

The conservation Management Plan should allow the client and any future team of consultants/developers to quickly establish the historically important areas of the building and/or any specific items which require more careful consideration than perhaps other areas of a building.

As either lead consultant or part of a larger team, LEP can offer experience in architectural analysis and understanding.
